This role is suited to a mature professional with proven experience in dental assisting and people management, who is motivated by both excellence in care and leading a team.What You'll DoDeliver high-quality chair-side assistance to our clinicians.Mentor and support Dental Assistants, guiding their growth and ensuring team cohesion.Oversee daily operations, including morning team check-ins, rostering updates, and task allocation.Manage stock, ordering, and equipment to maintain smooth clinic operations.Ensure infection control and sterilisation standards are consistently upheld.Assist with onboarding and training current Dental Assistants.Act as a key link between the DA team and management, addressing challenges with professionalism.Drive our mobile dental clinic to schools across Adelaide.What You'll BringExtensive experience as a Dental Assistant, with a strong clinical and operational background.Certificate III in Dental Assisting (Cert IV highly regarded).
Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to support and manage people in a dental environment.Maturity, professionalism, and excellent organisational skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative, supportive approach.Confidence in stock management and practice software (Core Practice or Dental 4 Windows desirable).
