The Master of Bread Cafe Pty Ltd. is seeking an experienced Cafe/ Restaurant Manager to join our team in Daw Park, SA. This is a full-time position and will involve overseeing all aspects of our cafe operations, from customer service and staff management to inventory and financial control.
What you'll be doing
* Manage day-to-day cafe operations, including customer service, cash handling, and stock management
* Oversee a team of baristas, servers, and kitchen staff, providing leadership, training, and performance management
* Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and profitability
* Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and food hygiene regulations
* Monitor and analyse sales, inventory, and financial data to identify opportunities for growth and cost-savings
* Collaborate with the broader management team to contribute to the overall success of the business
What we\'re looking for
* Proven experience in a retail or cafe management role, ideally within the hospitality industry
* Minimum 1-2 years of management experience required
* Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
* Experience managing teams of 5-10 staff members required
* Excellent customer service orientation and communication skills
* Proficient in financial management, including budgeting, inventory control, and cost-cutting
* Thorough understanding of food safety and health regulations
* Food Safety Supervisor certification required
* Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and work under pressure
* Australian work authorisation required at time of application
