We are seeking an experienced Part‑Time or Full‑Time Compliance Officer to join our team and play a critical role in maintaining excellence across our NDIS services.
About the Role
The NDIS Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring our organisation meets all regulatory, quality, and safety requirements under the NDIS Practice Standards and Quality & Safeguards Framework. You will work closely with leadership, frontline teams, and external stakeholders to promote best practice, manage risk, and maintain high‑quality service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor organisational compliance with the NDIS Practice Standards, relevant legislation, and internal policies.
* Lead and support internal audits, incident reviews, and quality improvement activities.
* Maintain accurate records, documentation, and evidence for NDIS audits and ongoing registration requirements.
* Investigate incidents, complaints, and reportable events, ensuring timely reporting to the NDIS Commission.
* Develop and update policies, procedures, and training resources to enhance compliance capability across the organisation.
* Provide guidance and support to managers and staff on compliance, safeguarding, and risk management.
* Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and contribute to a strong culture of safety and accountability.
What We Need
* Attention to detail and a proactive approach to ensuring compliance with NDIS standards.
* Familiarity with the use of PRODA, Google Drive, Jotform, CRM (i.e. MYP, Salesforce and ShiftCare).
* A genuine interest in quality improvement and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
* Thorough understanding of the NDIS Practice Standards.
* A willingness to upskill and enhance knowledge and practices.
* Comfortable with auditing houses and being on the field.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* Previous experience in compliance.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong knowledge of Excel.
* Knowledge of PRODA.
* Native English speaker with full working rights and no visa restrictions.
* NDIS Worker Screening Check.
* Working with Children Check.
* New Worker NDIS Induction Module.
* NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
* Supporting Effective Communication Module.
* Mandatory Child Sexual Abuse Training.
* Valid WA Driver's Licence.
* Calm, caring, and compassionate demeanour with excellent communication skills.
