We have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Lawyer to join our dynamic and growing firm.
Role
You will assist in a diverse range of commercial matters. This includes advising on corporate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, contract negotiation and drafting, and general commercial advice.
This role is ideal for a lawyer early in their career who is keen to develop strong commercial law foundations and gain hands-on exposure across transactions and advisory work while working closely with experienced Directors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with advising clients on general commercial and corporate matters
* Support corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions
* Draft and review commercial contracts and legal documents
* Conduct legal research and prepare advice and correspondence
* Assist with client communications and file management
* Work collaboratively with Directors and senior lawyers on active matters
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* 1 year + PQE
* A Bachelor of Laws or equivalent qualification
* A current Queensland practising certificate
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and drafting skills
* Good attention to detail and a willingness to learn
* A positive, proactive attitude and strong work ethic
