Role and Responsibility:
* Provide direct support to people with a disability including personal care and manual handling
* Medication management
* Application of Participant plans ie, Behaviour Support, Epilepsy Management, etc.
* Accurate data collection in all areas of accommodation services and community participation
* Maintain and monitor a client's person-centered support plan
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* NSW Driver's Licence
* Reliable and comprehensively insured vehicle
* Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance and registration
* First Aid Certificate
* Working with Children Check
* Must be available to work sleepover shifts
* NDIS worker Screening Check
* Ability to perform manual handling tasks and physical care duties safely
* Permanent Australian work rights or valid working visa
Desirable:
* Certificate III in individual support or similar
* Mental health first aid training
* Medication management training
* Experience managing challenging behaviours
