We are seeking a skilled and motivated Anaesthetic Nurse or Anaesthetic Technician to join our team on a casual basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a modern, accredited day surgery environment that values excellence in patient care, safety, and teamwork.
About the Role:
You will provide professional anaesthetic nursing care to patients undergoing procedures under general anaesthesia and procedural sedation across a variety of specialties. You will work closely with anaesthetists and the surgical team to ensure safe and efficient care.

* Dental
* Vascular
* Minor Orthopaedics
* Endoscopy
* Ophthalmology
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver safe and effective anaesthetic nursing care in line with clinical standards and policies.
* Assist the anaesthetist during induction, maintenance, and emergence phases of both general anaesthesia and sedation.
* Prepare, manage, and troubleshoot anaesthetic equipment and medications.
* Monitor patients closely and respond to clinical changes with confidence and care.
* Ensure accurate documentation and uphold infection control and WHS standards.
Essential Criteria:
* Minimum 2 years' recent anaesthetic nursing experience, including both general anaesthesia and sedation.
* Strong clinical knowledge of anaesthetic protocols and airway management.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Availability to work flexible casual shifts.
* Australian citizenship or permanent residency status required.
Desirable:
* Previous experience in a day hospital or short-stay surgery facility.
