The Role
We're seeking a dynamic and hands-on Finance Manager to join our commercial team and support the next phase of our growth. This newly created role will play a key part in enhancing the financial capability of our business while freeing up senior leaders to focus on their core responsibilities.
Working closely with the National Commercial Director, the Finance Manager will oversee day-to-day financial operations, support strategic planning, and ensure systems and controls are running smoothly across our Australian teams.

What You'll Be Doing
Oversee all financial systems, transactions, and reporting processes across all Innovis Australian locations.
Managing end-of-month close, reconciliations, BAS, GST, PAYG and payroll processes
Maintaining and improving cashflow models and financial reports for board review
Overseeing accounts receivable and payable processes, including payment reconciliations
Ensuring financial compliance, documentation, and internal controls are up to date
Identifying and implementing system/process improvements and automation opportunities
Liaising with external accountants and payroll providers across Australia
Contributing to dashboard reporting, KPIs and strategic planning insights
Supporting budgeting and rolling forecast processes alongside the National Commercial Director
Assist with rollout of new ERP system
Supporting project leads to use our ERP platform to monitor project financials
Mentoring junior finance/admin staff and reviewing their work
What We're Looking For
CA/CPA qualified (or working towards)
At least 5 years of experience in a finance or accounting leadership role
Strong knowledge of Australian tax, payroll, and compliance obligations
Experience with project-based businesses, ideally in professional services or consulting
High proficiency in Xero or similar accounting platforms
Familiarity with financial/project management systems like Total Synergy or Deltek Vantagepoint (desirable)
Proficiency with Power BI system or similar (desirable)
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, solution-focused mindset
A proactive, systems-oriented thinker who enjoys improving how things work
