Job Title: Quality Assurance Technician
As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring product quality and compliance.
About the Role
This challenging opportunity involves conducting wet and dry quality tests on raw materials and finished goods, performing routine QA tests, and maintaining digital records.
* Conduct regular quality checks following established procedures and protocols.
* Verify Critical Control Points to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
* Accurately record QA data into our systems and maintain accurate digital records.
You will also be responsible for identifying and addressing non-conformances, conducting temperature checks, and supporting shelf-life validation programs.
Key Responsibilities:
* To conduct quality tests on raw materials and finished goods.
* To verify Critical Control Points and ensure compliance with food safety standards.
* To maintain accurate digital records and enter QA data into our systems.
In addition, you will support other team members by providing expert knowledge and guidance on quality assurance practices and protocols.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A Diploma or Degree in Food Science (or equivalent relevant laboratory/industry experience).
* Prior experience in a food manufacturing QA or laboratory setting.
* A positive, proactive, and team-oriented attitude.
* Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards.
* Proficiency with Windows-based systems and prior SAP experience highly regarded.
* Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
* Full working rights in Australia.
