About the role
This is a fast-paced, hands-on role responsible for coordinating rosters across multiple departments including gaming, bar, bistro, functions and administration.
You’ll balance operational needs, labour costs and compliance to support smooth day-to-day operations. Working closely with leaders across the business, you’ll also contribute to workforce planning and ongoing efficiency improvements.

Key responsibilities include:

* Build and manage rosters across multiple departments
* Monitor labour costs (penalties, overtime, late-night loadings)
* Ensure compliance with relevant industrial instruments (Enterprise Agreements and Awards)
* Adjust rosters to manage leave, sick calls and operational changes
* Coordinate staff availability, contracts and skill mix (e.g. RSA/RCG)
* Support inductions, training and compliance tracking
* Partner with leaders to forecast staffing needs
* Communicate rosters and changes clearly to staff
* Support recruitment planning and onboarding requirements
* Resolve rostering queries professionally and consistently
* Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs

About you
You’re organised, detail-focused and thrive in a high-volume environment. You’re confident managing competing priorities and making quick, informed decisions to keep operations on track.

You will bring:

* Experience in rostering or workforce planning (hospitality or similar preferred)
* Strong understanding of industrial instruments (Enterprise Agreements and Awards) and their practical application
* Ability to manage multiple rosters and deadlines
* Strong attention to detail and analytical capability
* Confident communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment
* Experience with rostering or workforce systems (highly regarded)
