Overview
Island Health's Division of Neurology has an opportunity for a Neurologist to join a group of 11 based in Victoria. The successful candidate will participate in hospital-based inpatient general neurology practice, including full participation in the on-call schedule, and establish an independent office practice. Sub-specialty training in Clinical Epilepsy and EEG interpretation is preferred.
Victoria is an acute stroke referral centre with access to full intensive care, neurosurgical and radiology services. Our program offers sub-specialty care in stroke, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, neuro-ophthalmology, movement disorders, neuromuscular and neuro-behavioral disorders. We work closely as a collaborative group and are seeking engaged team players.
Start Date: as soon as possible.

Responsibilities
Provide hospital-based inpatient general neurology care as part of a group practice.
Participate in the on-call schedule.
Establish and manage an independent office practice.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver sub-specialty care in areas such as stroke, epilepsy, MS, and related neuro disorders.
Qualifications
Neurologist with preferred sub-specialty training in Clinical Epilepsy and EEG interpretation.
