About the role
The Administrative Officer provides confidential secretarial, reception and administrative services to the Women's and Children's Health Network. Positions operate on a weekly rotation roster across various shift times within the clinical areas and Administrative Services Unit across the Health Network.
Key duties
* Provide an effective and efficient administrative and reception service.
* Provide an efficient, fair and equitable patient-focused booking service.
* Assist with the provision of an efficient and effective record management service.
* Support and actively participate in a positive culture and safe work environment within the department.
Skills and Experience
* Experience in providing a confidential reception, secretarial and administrative support service.
* Effective communication skills and the ability to work with empathy with a diverse range of people, while demonstrating courtesy and politeness.
* Working knowledge of office and administrative procedures and systems, including competent keyboard and data entry skills.
* Demonstrated initiative, good organisational skills and attention to detail.
