About the role:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Radiographer to join our Radiology team at Griffith Base Hospital. At Griffith we offer a range of Diagnostic Imaging services including CT, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound and general X-ray.
As the Level 3 Radiographer, your responsibilities may include:
* Perform medical imaging examinations according to established protocols while ensuring accurate patient identification and adherence to safety procedures
* Maintain patient safety and professionalism by providing a safe environment, respecting patient privacy and dignity, and following all MLHD and NSW MoH codes of practice
* Ensure data accuracy and workflow management through proper RIS/PACS system use, examination prioritization, appointment scheduling, and supporting departmental operations
* Communicate and collaborate effectively with radiologists, colleagues, referrers, and hospital departments while observing safety policies and reporting hazards to management
* Participate in rostering and professional development including after-hours/on-call duties, quality improvement projects, accreditation processes, student training, and multi-site work as required

Essential Qualifications & Registration, Experience and Skills:
* Medical Imaging degree (or AHPRA-equivalent), current AHPRA registration, NSW EPA Radiation Licence, ASAR registration, and Class C driver's licence
* Recent postgraduate experience in Diagnostic Radiography and Sonography with ability to independently perform the full range of imaging procedures and interventional examinations
* Excellent clinical reasoning and practical expertise in Medical Imaging procedures, strong understanding of WHS legislation, and superior written/verbal communication skills for liaising with hospital staff, referrers, patients and carers
Desirable:
* Recognised postgraduate qualification in area of expertise (e.g., DMU for Ultrasound)
