**About the role**

This role will be located in Birkdale with the possibility of working across our Wynnum site where required.
**Responsibilities Include**
- Supporting residents with everyday tasks while promoting their independence and dignity.
- Collaborating with the healthcare team, including nurses, doctors, and other allied health professionals, to provide holistic and person-centered care, contributing to a positive team culture and effective care coordination.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation and records, including care plans, incident reports, and observations, as per Queensland Health standards and Regis policies.
- Effectively communicating with residents, their families, and the healthcare team, including nurses, doctors, and allied health professionals, to provide updates, report concerns, and ensure continuity of care.

**About you**
- Qualified with a Certificate III in Individual Support (minimum requirement) or are currently studying a nursing degree
- Previous placement and/or experience in a personal care role in aged care (desirable but not essential)
- Demonstrated ability to work to required resident outcomes
- Ability to deliver excellent customer service through empathy and compassion towards residents. Understanding their emotional needs and providing emotional support to enhance their well-being and comfort.
