**Job Overview**
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to fill the role of Domestic Support Assistant.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Provide domestic assistance to clients, including vacuuming, mopping, changing sheets, and surface cleaning of living areas.
* Assist with weekly/fortnightly shopping for clients.
* Transport clients to and from appointments in the community.
* Offer personal care services, including showering, dressing, and grooming.
* Provide respite and social support to clients, utilizing excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
**Training and Development:**
This is a part-time traineeship that offers flexible work arrangements, family-friendly hours, and guaranteed hours. Trainees will be trained on-the-job and complete a Certificate III in Individual Support during paid work time. The traineeship also includes salary packaging and a supportive environment.
**Requirements:**
To be successful in this role, applicants should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification is highly desirable.
