As a cleaning professional, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
* Cleaning and Sanitizing: Regularly clean and sanitize resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms, and other areas throughout the facility.
* Waste Management: Dispose of waste, including both regular trash and medical waste, in accordance with proper guidelines and safety protocols.
* Infection Control: Follow strict infection control procedures, such as using appropriate sanitizing agents and personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of infections.
* Supply Management: Ensure that cleaning and hygiene supplies are adequately stocked and available for residents and staff.
* Equipment Operation: Operate floor scrubbers, vacuums, cleaning trolleys and consumables.
You will collaborate closely with the facilities team to ensure that the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained at all times.
Requirements:
* Adaptability, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn.
* Collaborative and skilled at teamwork.
* Effective communication abilities.
* NDIS Workers clearance check or ability to obtain.
* Prior experience in commercial cleaning or Aged Care/Health care/Hospital settings highly advantageous.
