Your new role
For this role we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Branch Manager to lead the Townsville site to its maximum potential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in Salesforce effectiveness, operations management, stock management and leadership. This role requires a strategic thinker who can build strong relationships with customers and lead a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Sales Force Effectiveness:
o Grow the customer base and build gross margin by providing superior customer experiences.
o Implement and manage pricing systems and lead the sales team through daily and weekly processes.
o Identify and target growth in strategic segments and industries.
o Meet and exceed site KPIs.
* Operational Excellence:
o Deliver industry-leading service to the customer base.
o Ensure local market deliveries are timely and efficient.
o Build staff capability and ensure understanding of customer expectations.
o Maintain warehouse environment
* Stock Management:
o Maintain inventory levels within agreed parameters.
o Manage slow-moving stock efficiently.
o Ensure monthly stock reorders are done on time and to a high standard.
* Leadership & Principles:
o Lead by example and deal with issues fairly and equitably.
o Ensure staff understand expectations and standards.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have prior management experience and a background in the industrial sector, specifically in operations and sales. You will have excellent customer service skills, strong time management skills and be action-oriented and adaptable to change.
What you'll get in return
In return, our client can offer a permanent position with salary banding of up to $150K depending on experience.
