An excellent chance exists for an experienced and highly passionate Registered Nurse with well-developed interpersonal and communication skills to join the Floor Coordinator Team at a private hospital in Brisbane. It is a permanent Full-Time position.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Operating Theatre Floor Coordinator, you will be responsible for the workflow coordination of the shift, ensuring the timely and efficient flow of operating lists and labour management. Your responsibilities will include overseeing safe, quality care that meets current best practice standards, supporting and liaising with the Perioperative department and wards' Nurse Unit Manager and ensuring all theatres are staffed appropriately and cost-efficient.
REQUIREMENTS
Current registration with AHPRA;
Relevant postgraduate qualifications (desirable);
Experience in coordinating busy theatres;
Commitment to the Safe Values;
Excellent time management;
Being comfortable with competing priorities and flexible to change;
