Head of Learning Area - Arts and Information Technology
This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 3, 2026.
Armadale Senior High School (SHS) is an Independent Public School dedicated to providing students from Year 7 to Year 12 with strong academic achievement and positive engagement. Responsibilities
* The Head of Learning Area - Arts and Information Technology provides high quality leadership to staff within the Arts and IT learning area.
* Lead the implementation of excellence in teaching and learning across the Arts and IT learning area.
* Lead improvement and change initiatives, supported by the capacity to use data to inform decision making.
* Possess an excellent understanding of the Western Australian Curriculum, assessment and reporting requirements for Years 7 to 12.
* Develop programmes differentiated for the specific learning needs of all students across the full range of abilities.
* Lead and evaluate moderation activities that ensure consistent and comparable judgements of student learning.
* Participate as a member of the school's Senior Leadership Team in the ongoing leadership of improvement in both the learning area and the whole school.
