The role of National Account Manager involves driving revenue growth for Grocery customers through excellent customer service and effective trade relationships.
Main Responsibilities
1. To implement strategies that achieve revenue targets while managing trade budgets and retailer business plans, with a focus on improving supply chain efficiencies.
2. To oversee Trade Spend and Operations budgets by ensuring efficient processes and accurate reporting.
3. To collaborate with Demand Planning and VRP teams to develop account plans that optimise revenue growth.
4. To foster a positive team culture and maintain strong relationships with the Field Sales Team.
5. To monitor market activity and provide strategic insights to drive revenue growth.
Skill Requirements
1. To manage financial aspects of the Trade Spend model to maximise budget efficiency and drive revenue growth.
2. To apply the One Number model for accurate demand planning and alignment with corporate targets.
3. To engage and influence customers through varied presentation formats.
Qualifications
1. Tertiary qualifications in Sales, Marketing, or Finance.
2. Minimum of two years of experience in a National Account Role or equivalent business development roles.
3. Proven expertise in developing retail category plans.
4. Strong understanding of FMCG and Independent Grocery market.
