We are looking for experienced Chefs & Cooks to join our clients in Somerset Region including Kilcoy, QLD.
In this hands on roles, the chosen candidates must:
* Ensure food preparation and quality is of the highest standard possible.
* Manage stock levels and follow company procedures and recipe guide lines.
* Ensure hygiene is maintained to the required standards.
* Maintain a clean and organised kitchen during and after service.
* Assist the head chef in cost control and assist in ensuring budgeted profit and targets are met.
* Able to work unsupervised and harmoniously with the rest of the staff.
To be successful for this role you will possess the following:
* Minimum of 1 years post qualification fulltime experience in prep and ala carte essential (Lunch & Dinner)
* Appropriate industry recognized trade qualifications.
* Experience in fast paced, service and quality focused venues.
* Guest orientated and passionate about food.
* Sound knowledge of food hygiene practices.
* The ability to work well under pressure with an eye for detail.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Happy to work split shifts if required.
* Possess a positive attitude and work well as a part of the team.
The positions are full time, $70-$80K a year salary depending on the position and experience.
