IEPro are working with a respected civil contractor to recruit an experienced Project Engineer with strong exposure to FRP and concrete projects to support delivery of renewable energy infrastructure on a FIFO basis.

This opportunity sits within a contractor delivering large-scale renewable projects across Queensland.

The works involve technically demanding civil packages including reinforced concrete structures, FRP installations, and associated infrastructure supporting major energy developments.

This role suits a commercially aware engineer who enjoys being involved in both the technical and commercial aspects of project delivery.

The Opportunity

As Project Engineer, you will support the delivery of renewable energy infrastructure projects, ensuring works are completed safely, to specification, and in line with program and commercial targets.

You will work closely with Project Managers, Supervisors, subcontractors, and suppliers to drive consistent delivery outcomes across site operations.

The Role

In this role, you will:

* Support delivery of FRP and reinforced concrete construction packages
* Coordinate site activities, subcontractors, and suppliers
* Review drawings, specifications, and construction methodologies
* Manage RFIs, technical queries, and site documentation
* Assist with cost control, variations, and commercial reporting
* Monitor safety, quality, and environmental compliance
* Support programming, progress reporting, and forecasting
* Contribute to project handover and close-out activities

About You

To succeed, you will bring:

* Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or related discipline
* Proven experience as a Project Engineer on civil infrastructure projects
* Strong exposure to FRP installation and reinforced concrete works
* Experience working on renewable energy or major infrastructure projects preferred
* Strong commercial awareness and cost management exposure
* Ability to manage subcontractors and coordinate site activities
* Clear communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* A practical and solutions-focused approach to project delivery
