About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned marketing expert to spearhead our efforts in Australia and New Zealand.
* Develop a tailored annual marketing strategy to engage financial intermediary clients and prospects across both countries.
* Collaborate with sales leaders and global peers to define business opportunities and drive growth in the ANZ sector.
* Work closely with research, sales, and product teams to generate insights that inform campaign development and support business objectives.
* Purposefully plan, manage, and deliver integrated marketing campaigns through offline and online media channels suited to the local market context.
* Enhance brand reputation and positioning by overseeing consistent messaging across all touchpoints.
* Represent marketing on the Australian Leadership Team, contributing to overall business leadership while advocating for marketing priorities.
* Foster strong relationships with internal departments, key clients, external agencies, and local distributors to promote joint initiatives and third-party promotional activity.
* Serve as a bridge between local sales teams and central marketing functions, ensuring alignment of perspectives and managing expectations effectively.
* Oversight prioritisation, tailoring, and implementation of global campaigns for the ANZ market including brand, product, and thematic initiatives.
* Ensure all marketing activities comply with local regulatory requirements while maintaining high standards of quality across materials, campaigns, programmes, and brand representation.
Requirements
To be successful in this position, you will require:
* More than 15 years' experience in asset management marketing within Australia or New Zealand.
* A deep understanding of the financial intermediaries landscape, including distributors, end-investors, market opportunities, competitor intelligence, regulatory issues, private banking, and retail banking channels.
* Proven expertise across all aspects of the marketing mix: strategic planning; public relations; event management; advertising (digital/out-of-home/print); digital marketing (social media/email/web); content creation; analytics; modern personalised digital campaigns; lead generation.
* The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
* Exceptional stakeholder management skills for building consensus among diverse groups.
* Outstanding project management abilities to oversee multiple concurrent initiatives.
* An entrepreneurial mindset combined with creativity.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills for articulating complex concepts clearly to varied audiences.
* A commitment to collaboration and being an effective team player at both local business unit level and within regional/global marketing networks.
