The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Site Manager to support the leadership of a newly established remote village in South Australia. This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved from the early stages of mobilisation, assisting with site setup and the transition into full operations of a brand-new village and its facilities.
This role is ideal for experienced and driven site or operations leaders with a strong background in hospitality and facilities management, who thrive in a FIFO environment and are passionate about people, safety, and service delivery.
As a FIFO Site Manager, you will play a key leadership role in the overall management of remote village sites, overseeing multiple departments and ensuring contractual, financial, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage all aspects of site operations, including Catering, Cleaning, Facilities, and Administration
* Provide strong leadership to multidisciplinary teams, fostering engagement, accountability, and high performance
* Ensure delivery of high-quality service outcomes aligned with client and company expectations
* Manage site budgets with a strong understanding of food costing, waste management, and cost control
* Maintain compliance with company policies, HSEQ standards, and contractual requirements
* Oversee rosters, workforce planning, and team development across departments
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams
* Monitor site performance, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives
* Ensure all health, safety, food safety (HACCP), and security procedures are followed at all times
About You
* Previous experience managing a medium to large site, village, hotel, or hospitality operation
* Strong operational background across catering, cleaning, and facilities services
* Proven ability to lead and motivate large teams in a FIFO or fast-paced environment
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Commercially focused with experience in financial reporting and budget management
* Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organisational skills
* Proactive, resilient, and adaptable to changing operational needs
* FIFO experience is highly regarded
