They operate in a highly innovative, R&D-led environment and are now seeking a Senior Power Electronics Engineer to join their team in Perth.
About the opportunity
* Design and develop high-power electronic systems (inverters, converters, power control circuits)
* Investigate and resolve production and field power-related issues
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency and thermal optimisation
* Use simulation tools (MATLAB/Simulink, LTSpice, etc.) to validate designs
* Support prototyping, testing, EMC compliance, and design verification
* Work closely with mechanical, manufacturing, and systems teams
* Maintain technical documentation across the product lifecycle
About you
* Degree in Electrical / Electronics or Power Electronics Engineering
* 3–5+ years of experience in power electronics
* Strong experience with IGBTs, MOSFETs, inverters, converters, and power topologies advantageous
* Proficient in Altium and power electronics simulation tools
* Solid understanding of DFM/DFA and scalable manufacturing
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
* Based in WA with full working rights
