About this role
* As a seasoned financial professional, you will be responsible for managing bookkeeping needs of clients and guiding team members.
You will take ownership of workflow coordination, delegate tasks effectively, review the work of team members, and provide support to help them problem solve and continuously improve.
Key responsibilities include:
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships through clear and timely communication
* Overseeing accounts payable and receivable processes
* Preparing reconciliations (bank and general ledger), BAS statements, and short-term cash flows
* Allocating and reviewing work across the team
* Supporting team members in resolving issues and improving processes
* Compiling and delivering accurate financial reports
Some key skills and qualifications include:
* Proven experience in a bookkeeping role
* Interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
* A proactive, client-focused mindset
* Excellent time management and the ability to prioritise effectively
* Confidence using Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks or similar platforms
* Attention to detail and the ability to plan ahead
