About the Role
We're looking for a skilled Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Mechanic to maintain and repair our site-based systems in a high-demand FMCG manufacturing environment. This is a full-time afternoon shift position, reporting to the Senior Service Technician.
What You'll Do
* Service, maintain and repair refrigeration and air-conditioning systems
* Diagnose and resolve faults quickly and effectively
* Work with ammonia-based refrigeration systems (essential)
* Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
* Champion safety and compliance in all tasks
What You'll Bring
* Certificate III in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (trade qualified)
* Full Refrigerant Handling Licence (ARCtick)
* Industrial experience, ideally in FMCG
* NSW Restricted Electrical Licence (minimum)
* Strong fault-finding and repair skills
* Current manual driver's licence
* Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
* Working at Heights and Confined Space tickets (highly desirable)
* Valid working rights in Australia
