**About the opportunity**
The **Centre Project Officer**will provide administrative and project support for ongoing research. These projects include stakeholders including government, industry and non-government organisations.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- provide day-to-day project and administrative support to ensure timely progression and high-quality outcomes in research activities
- facilitate detailed planning, analysis and preparation of documentation aligned with research protocols and submission standards
- monitor budgets, manage funding processes, ensure financial accuracy and coordinate purchasing and payment resolutions
- ensure adherence to ethical, institutional and policy requirements including monitor risks and proactively address compliance or safety issues.
- compile research reports to standard, identify areas for improvement and collaborate on resolving inconsistencies or gaps
- promote open communication, address stakeholder concerns promptly and build trust and collaboration within the team and wider networks.
**About you**
- Bachelor degree or an equivalent combination of training and experience
- previous research experience from university or government
- experience project managing multiple work streams in a functional environment
- strong documentation skills, including attention to detail and synthesising information into summaries
