Role Details
As a KEY valued member of this cutting-edge nimble 'smart' law firm, reporting to / being mentored by the managing principal (a proven entrepreneur+impressive ex top-tier senior lawyer), you will relish the diversity engaging in interesting work acting for a broad client base Australia-wide.
Specifically, you will love taking ownership of your own practice / clients advising on :
1. trade marks- including brand selection strategies, searches, contracts, registration, prosecution, opposition, non-use and licensing, infringement actions, dispute resolution.

* Support- from a 25+ years experienced TM specialist paralegal (fabulous);

(Only if you are alawyer who desires a broader not 100% TM role) -some scope to practice in commercial law if you wish / prefer ( eg commercial contracts, corporate / business law, privacy law, employment law, non-TM intellectual property).
Work flexibility -start / finish times +partial work from home (or 100% remote for staff living outside of Sydney).

Qualifications
WHO YOU ARE
We are interested in hearing from you if you :
* Are a registered Australian / NZ qualified TM attorney OR dually qualified solicitor / TM attorney residing anywhere in Australia (preferably Sydney but open to any location provided you're happy to work remotely);
* have a minimum of 2 years (or more) experience in trade marks (essential) including some disputes experience (preferable);
* have solid knowledge of current trademark law+ practice;
* have high attention to detail+ strong drafting / communication / people skills+ commercial acumen;
* have an entrepreneurial spirit willing to participate in business development / marketing;
