**About the role**
This position will support the Procurement and Supply Chain function in delivering P&SC business plan, BAU deliverables and other projects. Some responsibilities of the role will include;
- Ensure that the supplier accreditation process for new and existing suppliers and contractors are compliant in meeting specific minimum criteria, standards and organisation requirements in order to be registered, eligible and approved to conduct business and provide goods and services. This includes supplier on-boarding and the ongoing management of critical supplier data records keeping is undertaken with applicable compliance and governance in a timely manner.
- Manage the procurement vendor database management system to ensure vendor data are accurate and updated
- Conduct regular vendor assessment in accordance with business requirements and ensures status of vendors are updated in the system
- Perform regular rationalisation of vendor base to identify high and non-performing suppliers, clean up the vendor master and create a lean vendor base
- Support the development, implementation and maintenance of supplier relationship framework - promoting consistency, best practice, and continuous improvements
- Support sustainable procurement initiatives - including aboriginal procurement, Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives including modern slavery commitments, regional supplier focus, sustainable 'cleaner and greener' practices.

In addition to sharing our passion, to be successful in this role you will have:
- Degree and or professional qualification in business, procurement, supply chain, law, economics, commerce, or an equivalent discipline is essential.
- Post-graduate qualification is desirable
- WA Drivers Licence Class "C" or "C-A" is essential.
- A good knowledge and proven expertise in end-to-end supplier life cycle management and purchase to pay best practice
- Project management skills including how to effectively schedule, prioritise and address risks & issues
- Effective written and oral communication
- Relationship management skills, and ability to develop relationships with variety of people both internally and externally
- MS Office systems (e.g. Word, Excel) and Procurement Systems (e.g. Ariba, SAP, etc)
- Highly motivated and proactive individual, comfortable working autonomously in a complex environment.
