What's the role?
In this role, you'll help shape how Westpac manages enterprise wide and emerging risks. This role will support a centralised team focussing on geopolitical risks and other evolving areas.
You'll work closely with teams across the organisation to simplify processes, uplift risk practices and keep an eye on the big-picture risks that could impact the bank. You will think about future risk trends and support practical insights.
This is a full-time position based in Sydney or Adelaide, with standard business hours and the flexibility you need to do your best work. If you enjoy connecting the dots, working collaboratively and influencing meaningful change, you'll feel right at home here.
What do I need?
You'll be set up for success if you have:
* Experience working in risk, transformation, strategy or a related field, ideally within geopolitical risk.
* Strong problem-solving skills and a knack for getting into the detail when it matters.
* The ability to work collaboratively.
* Strategic thinking and the ability to look ahead, understand impacts and spot interdependencies.
* Clear, confident written and verbal communication skills.
