Key Responsibilities Regional Events Attraction & Support
* Contribute to the development and implementation of a regional events attraction strategy
* Build and maintain strong relationships with event organisers, industry bodies, and key stakeholders
* Support the planning and delivery of major events, festivals, conferences, and sporting events
* Act as the primary point of contact for event organisers seeking Council support
* Identify new event opportunities and gaps within the regional events calendar
* Assist with event bids, site inspections, and promotional activities
* Coordinate post-event evaluations and identify continuous improvement opportunities
* Provide guidance and support to internal teams delivering community and Council events
Marketing & Promotion
* Develop and deliver innovative regional marketing and branding initiatives
* Create and manage engaging digital content, including social media and website updates
* Collaborate with tourism and community development stakeholders on joint campaigns
* Monitor and analyse marketing performance and campaign effectiveness
* Design marketing collateral using digital tools (e.g. Canva)
* Promote regional events and initiatives across multiple communication platforms
* Identify and support funding opportunities
Administration & Reporting
* Manage customer enquiries and stakeholder communications
* Contribute to corporate planning, reporting, and budget processes
* Prepare reports, correspondence, and project documentation
* Coordinate meetings and stakeholder engagement activities
* Maintain the regional events calendar and support community engagement initiatives
