Overview
Wollemi College is currently seeking to engage a permanent, ongoing, full-time Secondary English Teacher to commence in Term 2, 2026 (or earlier, by negotiation).
Responsibilities
* Demonstrated ability to integrate technology into teaching and learning.
* Capability in introducing and, where required, executing ideas to enhance our Secondary school.
Qualifications
* Suitable tertiary qualifications and demonstrated experience providing teaching of English across Stages 4-6.
* Capacity to differentiate the curriculum to meet the needs of a diverse range of students.
* Ability to positively manage students' classroom behaviour and manage pastoral care issues with effective discussion and processes with staff, students, and parents.
* Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and a commitment to ongoing evaluation and improvement.
* Strong organisational skills.
* Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to establish a professional rapport with students, staff, and the school community at all levels.
* Highly ethical and professional behaviour and standards.
* Understanding of, and support for the Vision, Mission, Values and ethos of the school.
