We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Community Support Worker to join our team. You will be working alongside young adults with intellectual disabilities, helping them build confidence, learn new skills, and navigate important life milestones. This role is all about empowering people to live as independently as possible — from daily personal care to developing life skills like flatting, finding employment, and building healthy relationships.
What You'll Be Doing
* Supporting daily routines, including personal cares with dignity and respect
* Encouraging independence in activities like cooking, budgeting, and household tasks
* Helping young adults build skills for work, study and social interactions
* Creating engaging activities - music, woodwork, art or anything fun and meaningful
* Building strong, supportive relationships with individuals and their families
* Promoting community inclusion by supporting people to participate in everyday life
