The Role
We're looking for a skilled chef with strong knowledge of traditional and modern Lebanese cuisine who can maintain consistency, lead a section, and contribute creatively to the menu.
Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare and execute authentic Lebanese dishes to a high standard
2. Manage grill and hot section (e.g. shish, kafta, tawook, mixed grills)
3. Ensure consistency, quality control, and presentation
4. Assist with menu development and specials
5. Maintain food safety and kitchen hygiene standards
6. Work efficiently in a fast‐paced, high‐volume environment
7. Train and guide junior kitchen staff
What We're Looking For
8. Proven experience as a Lebanese or Middle Eastern Chef
9. Solid knowledge of:
10. Charcoal/grill cooking
11. Mezze preparation (hummus, baba ghanoush, etc.)
12. Lebanese spices and flavour profiles
13. Ability to handle service under pressure
14. Attention to detail and pride in presentation
15. Team player with good communication skills
16. Availability for evenings and weekends
Bonus (Highly Valued)
17. Experience in high-volume restaurants
18. Experience with menu development
19. Knowledge of Afghan cuisine (not required but a plus)
