Auxiliary Firefighters play a crucial role in ensuring public safety through prevention, preparation and response.
Key Responsibilities:
* Respond to fire and emergency incidents as part of a team.
* Develop and maintain competencies by participating in regular drills and training courses.
* Maintain attendance standards for emergency incidents and training.
* Operate specialist firefighting equipment in a safe and effective manner.
* Contribute to station facilities upkeep and hygiene.
Requirements:
* Employer's consent to attend emergencies.
* Reside or work near an auxiliary fire station.
* Australian Permanent Resident Status.
* Manual C Class driver's license.
