Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to transition into a leadership role. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with clients, providing strategic financial guidance and leading a team of junior accountants.
Key Responsibilities include building strong relationships with clients, delivering high-quality accounting and advisory services, mentoring junior team members, and contributing to the firm's growth and success.
* Client Relationships: Be the primary point of contact for clients, building trust and confidence in your expertise.
* Financial & Tax Advisory: Provide expert advice on financial matters, helping clients make informed decisions about their business.
* Service Oversight: Ensure timely delivery of financial statements, tax compliance, and advisory services.
* Team Development: Mentor and support junior team members as they grow in their careers.
* Business Growth: Identify opportunities to enhance client services and contribute to the firm's success.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office, and a strong understanding of Australian Public Practice requirements.
* 5+ years of experience in Australian Public Practice
* Proficient in Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office

* Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
