Job Description
We are expanding our team in Sydney and would love to welcome a passionate and dedicated independent Occupational Therapist Contractor to join us in making a positive impact in our community.
We are open to applications from Occupational Therapists across Sydney with experience working with NDIS participants.
In this role, you will:
* Assess participants' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical levels of function and capacity through clinical observations and standardized assessments.
* Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant.
* Provide therapeutic interventions that are evidence-based.
* Support and advise on adaptations to the environment, including home, school, work, and residential facilities.
* Recommend the provision of Assistive Technology to assist participants with their functional limitations and promote independence.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist.
* Experience working with NDIS participants.
* Relevant insurance, including Public Liability, Professional Indemnity, and Comprehensive Car Insurance.
* Police clearance, Working with Children Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
* Active ABN.
