* Co-ordinates and plans truck movements efficiently to meet client appointments and timeslots on time at Ports, Customers and de-hire yards.
* Experience in allocations of container transport to/from Port Botany
* Utilise our transport computer systems for allocating.
* Co-ordinate the timely de-hire of containers.
* Interaction with clients and truck drivers.
* Ensure weights are properly calculated to avoid exceeding gross weight carrying capacity.
Required:
* Minimum 2 years' experience in transport or logistics, wharf cartage.
* Knowledge of transport systems including 1-stop, Containerchain and FreightTracker.
* Knowledge of Transport Regulations including Dangerous Goods, Fatigue, Chain of Responsibility and Mass and Maintenance under NHVR.
* Current Drivers Licence and car
* Knowledge of Sydney Metropolitan Area.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
