What we're looking for
SAP Project Manager
We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead, plan, and manage the SAP Data Migration solutions for our organization. The SAP Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, including defining the project scope, management of internal and external stakeholders, coordinating project teams, ensuring timelines and budgets are met, and ensuring the successful integration and deployment of SAP systems across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, communication, engagement and problem-solving skills along with extensive knowledge of SAP systems.
Responsibilities
Project Planning and Execution:
Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timeline, resource allocation, and risk management.
Define and document project objectives, deliverables, and key milestones.
Coordinate the execution of project tasks, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
Team Leadership and Coordination:
Lead cross-functional teams consisting of SAP consultants, business analysts, and technical resources.
Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among internal stakeholders, Partners, and external consultants.
Assign tasks to team members, monitor progress, and provide guidance as needed.
Client and Stakeholder Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and partners throughout the project.
Regularly communicate project status, risks, and issues to senior management and stakeholders.
Conduct regular project meetings and reviews to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Risk and Issue Management:
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, including technical, operational, and financial risks.
Address project-related issues in a timely manner and escalate when necessary.
Ensure compliance with project governance, quality standards, and industry best practices.
Budget and Resource Management:
Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring costs are tracked and controlled.
Optimize resource allocation to maximize project efficiency and effectiveness.
Monitor project expenditures and ensure proper financial tracking and reporting.
SAP System Integration and Deployment:
Manage system testing, validation, and user acceptance processes to ensure that the solution meets all functional and performance specifications.
Ensure proper documentation, and post-implementation support.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvements, enhancements.
Implement lessons learned from previous projects to optimize future project outcomes.
Qualifications
We are looking for a highly qualified candidate who meets the following criteria:
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field is required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience managing SAP Data migration projects.
Proven track record of successfully leading SAP implementations (preferably across various modules SAP FICO, MM, SD, etc.).
Experience managing large, cross-functional teams in a complex, fast-paced environment.
Strong understanding of SAP solutions, business processes, and system integration.
Excellent project management skills, including familiarity with methodologies like Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage stakeholder expectations and handle high-pressure situations.
SAP Project Management Certification (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate).
PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA or recent versions of SAP.
