Our Connected Cardiology team is expanding We are seeking an enthusiastic medical receptionist with a warm, engaging manner to join us in supporting heart health for our patients in the Goulburn Valley area.
Connected Cardiology operates from the Shepparton Regional Hub, delivering patient-centred care with respect and compassion. We provide face-to-face consultations, telehealth and offer a wide range of cardiac testing to support our patients in regional Victoria.
As a dynamic and forward-thinking private practice, we embrace telehealth and technology, and have built an experienced, multidisciplinary team of cardiologists, nurses, sonographers and administrative staff. The hours on offer for the Medical Receptionist position are 4 full days or equivalent, with dedicated Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday work days.
Qualifications & experience
* Previous experience in medical administration desirable
* Excellent communication skills and a "can-do" attitude
* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
* Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and data entry
* Dedication to continuous learning and professional development
Tasks & responsibilities
* Front reception duties, including welcoming patients with a warm & positive manner
* Answering phone enquiries and making appointment bookings
* Preparing clinic lists, ensuring referrals and patient details are up to date
* Communicating effectively with team members
* Ensuring patient confidentiality
* Demonstrating excellent time management skills
* Ability to take initiative in troubleshooting issues
