Your Role at a Glance Lead by example in health and safety practices, training others, and helping to manage rosters and supervise the work team – including seasonal harvest staff. Build strong connections with growers and customers through clear and respectful communication. Assist in the protection and storage of grain, whether in bunkers or permanent silos – including building, covering, and dismantling bunkers as needed. Carry out grain sampling and help train others in correct sampling procedures. Manage grain deliveries at the weighbridge and make sure weight records are kept accurately. Operate equipment safely and efficiently – including front-end loaders and bucket elevators. Support hygiene routines to ensure the site stays clean, safe, and up to standard. Work alongside the site manager to keep day-to-day site operations running smoothly. About You Hold a relevant qualification or bring solid, hands-on experience in a similar role. Have a current driver’s licence. Confident understanding of WHS, quality assurance, and ways to keep improving how things are done. Able to guide, instruct and support team members – especially during the busier seasons. Strong eye for detail, with clear communication skills – both written and verbal. Ready to take the lead and thrive when the pace picks up. Positive, proactive and self-motivated – always looking for ways to make things better.
