We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Barista All-Rounder to join our team at Gardens Tearooms in Rockhampton, QLD 4700. This is a casual role, with the opportunity to move into part-time employment for the right candidate. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, preparing high-quality coffee and beverages, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the café.

Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and specialty beverages to a high standard
* Provide friendly, professional, and efficient customer service
* Operate, clean, and maintain coffee machines and café equipment
* Assist with food preparation, service, and general café duties
* Handle cash and EFTPOS transactions accurately
* Assist with souvenir sales, restocking, filling, and maintaining displays
* Restock and rotate inventory of coffee, tea, food, and supplies
* Support preparation and packing of catering orders when required
* Maintain cleanliness of service, kitchen, seating, and display areas
* Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards

* Previous experience as a barista or in a customer service role
* Knowledge of coffee preparation and brewing techniques
* Strong customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
* Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Reliable, punctual, and well presented
* Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
