Key Responsibilities
The purpose of this role is to provide operational lifecycle support and instruction to personnel who perform simulation configuration, dataset adaptation, and exercise preparation and training management activities in support of CMATS.
This involves managing TopSky-NG adaptation datasets for ATC and simulation purposes, voice control system datasets, validation, and maintenance following software upgrades.
The instructor will also supervise and control CMATS training and simulation activities, including planning and session control.
The role requires high experience and knowledge in applying Data Preparation (DPR) and Exercise Editor (EED) tools for delivering high-quality, high-fidelity CMATS simulator training.
Some Key Skills Include:
* Data Management Functions: Managing TopSky-NG adaptation datasets for ATC and simulation purposes, Voice Control System datasets, validation, and maintenance following software upgrades.
* Leader Functions: Supervising and controlling CMATS training and simulation activities, including planning and session control.
* Pseudo Pilot/Leader Functions: Operating the Pseudo Pilot function to support training and controlling session parameters.
What You'll Bring
We're looking for someone with Australian Citizenship to gain defence security clearance.
You should have experience configuring Air Traffic Management systems and working with simulation datasets.
A strong understanding of ATM simulator platforms, including troubleshooting and performance requirements, is also required.
Intermediate skills in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, are necessary for this role.
We're particularly interested in candidates with experience developing aviation simulation exercises for training environments.
