We're a family-owned, local business specialising in the design and manufacturing of custom, high-quality curtains. With a commitment to excellence, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional products for our clients. Due to our growing demand, we are looking to expand our team and hire a skilled Sewing Machinist.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate industrial sewing machines to create custom curtains and soft furnishings to the highest quality standards.
* Follow specific client specifications and design requirements to produce tailored products.
* Work efficiently and independently, ensuring all products are completed within deadlines.
* Maintain sewing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
* Ensure all finished products meet quality control standards.
Skills and Experience:
* Proven experience operating industrial sewing machines (favourable).
* Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
* Ability to work with various fabrics and materials.
* Good understanding of sewing techniques, patterns, and measurements.
* Previous experience in curtain manufacturing or a similar industry is an advantage.
* A positive attitude and the ability to work as part of a close-knit team.
