This role involves managing the asset management program to optimize our investment in capital assets and field inventory. Responsibilities include field asset validation and reconciliation with the fixed asset register, ensuring consignment inventory accuracy, and driving regional initiatives aligned with an Asset Planning Optimization framework. The goal is to increase utilization of current asset holdings and improve the effectiveness of placed assets, including field inventory at customer sites.
What will you be doing?
* Overseeing the Kit request process from approval and allocation to dispatch, ensuring service KPIs are met.
* Implementing procedures for KPI optimization and movement across consignment locations to increase asset utilization.
* Standardizing kits and implementing preventative maintenance programs across the region.
* Collaborating with supply chain leads and process owners to identify and drive process improvements related to asset management and inventory.
* Conducting regular audits and reviews of asset utilization data.
* Communicating key risks and opportunities to management and maintaining ongoing business partnerships.
* Developing relationships with regional sales leaders and operational staff such as Master Data, Schedulers, Kit Build, and Ops Leads.
* Ensuring assets comply with all quality standards.
* Leading and participating in scheduled regional and national meetings.
* Supporting team colleagues through information sharing, problem solving, innovation, and constructive feedback to improve team effectiveness.
What will you need to be successful?
* Education: A university degree in Engineering or a related field, or 7 years of experience in the medical field with inventory management, plus a valid driver’s license.
* Experience: People management, analytical skills, logistics, asset management, SAP proficiency in operations and medical devices.
* Leadership: Ability to lead, influence, build relationships, and be solution-oriented.
* Travel: Up to 25% domestic travel.
