We are on the hunt for a Field Service Leading Hand to join our expanding Field Service team based out of Townsville ! This is a Permanent, Monday to Friday role, working 38 hours per week.
As a Field Service Leading Hand, you will:
1. Provide effective leadership to ensure productive, high-quality workmanship is delivered through a team of field service fitters
2. Ensure customer expectations are being met and exceeded by the team by aligning work plans, budgets and resources and communicating any variations in a timely manner to the Foreman for action.
3. Assess projects and assist with quoting work
4. Drive safe working practices and ensure staff members are aware and follow safety protocols, procedures and performing regular safety interactions with the team members.
5. Monitor the time management of your team to maximise efficiency
6. Ensure that Safety inspections are conducted, and registers are maintained

About You
A successful teammate will have the following:
16. Certificate III or IV in Trade Certification, Post Trade Qualifications with a minimum of five (5) years' experience
17. Previous experience on CAT machinery & CAT diagnostic systems will be desirable
18. Demonstrate competence to show supportive and structured leadership in the workplace.
19. Skills to provide high level technical advice and guidance to subordinates.
20. Skills to provide a very high level of customer service, whilst ensuring customer needs are addressed.
21. Competent to promote team effectiveness, communicate up and down the chain of command and inspect others work to ensure high level quality assurance.
22. Maintain a high level of workplace health and safety.
23. Excellent planning and organisational skills
