Role Purpose
The IT & Systems Manager is responsible for maintaining the computer networks for United Safety group of businesses across Australia, providing technical support, and ensuring the whole company runs smoothly. In addition the role will manage ERP systems including upgrades, implementation and troubleshooting. The role will also provide the necessary BI reporting to meet the business unit needs.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Managing company information technology and computer systems
* Troubleshooting and evaluating IT and electronic data operations
* Design, develop, implement, and coordinate systems, policies, and procedures
* Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
* Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organisational policy
* Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time
* Audit systems and assess their outcomes
* Preserve assets, information security and control structures
* Device set ups- computer hardware, mobile phones, iPads
* Software implementation across all devices
* Employee support and assistance in all matters IT
* Evaluate and identify Company procedure improvements needed
* Development and implementation of new processes and procedures
* Maintain and upgrade existing systems as required
* Managing multiple finance systems, MYOB advanced, Simpro and Accentis and any new system
* Conduct regular reviews of systems and generate reports on efficiencies and improvement areas
* Risk mitigation planning
* Troubleshoot information technology issues
* Training staff on system processes
* Oversee the performance of ERP systems to maximise the capability of the systems including implementing new features and training staff for the change management
* Develop the necessary BI reporting as needed for each business unit
* Support Finance Manager as needed
* Meet the company's expectations of ethics, integrity and behaviour during the course of their employment or contract
Qualifications
High level of accuracy, logic, and communication skills
* Proficient in Microsoft office suite
* Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer
* Expertise in data centre management and data governance
* Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation
* Excellent Troubleshooting skills
* Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and effectively
* Strong analysis skills to identify requirements, clarify and develop solutions
* Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, printers, and
* Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
* Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
* Providing technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone)
* Setting up accounts for new users
* Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
