The college serves approximately **** students and employs 130 staff members across various roles including Principal class, Education Support Staff, Leading Teachers, Learning Specialists, and Classroom teachers.

Selection Criteria
SC1.Qualification in Social Work, Youth Work, Psychology, Counselling or Mental Health.
SC2.Developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and network with a wide range of people and services within the education sector and wider community.
SC3.Demonstrated ability to input into the development, implementation and evaluation of school programmes and practices to deliver a comprehensive service to students, families and the wider community.
SC4.Demonstrated capacity to work as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary and professional team and contribute to the achievements of the team.
SC5.Developed networking skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a wide range of people within the education and wider community.
SC6.Developed counselling skills and experience in counselling adolescents presenting with a range of issues.
Role
Attendance is required for this position.
The role represents a Range 3 position, distinguished by the introduction of management responsibility and accountability for the delivery of professional support services.
The position will typically impact beyond the immediate work area, requiring cooperation with other staff and members of the school community to achieve objectives in areas such as school administration, operations or educational programmes.
The role has latitude in achieving directed targets and goals, subject to standard procedures and school policy.
Management of staff to achieve expected outcomes is a key responsibility, with minimal reference to senior management for routine issues.
Professional education support services (e.g., therapists, psychologists) are a feature at this level, and deviation from standard procedures and policy requires guidance from senior management.
Responsibilities
Manage the design and production of school publications and documents.
Provide professional student support services, including therapy, psychological and counselling services.
Offer strategic advice on specific support services and their impact on students, curriculum and school services.
Manage the use of and access to school resource and reference material.
