We’re seeking a Senior Events Officer to help deliver exceptional events across our award-winning venues. In this role, you’ll be the driving force behind the scenes - managing tour bookings, developing and delivering internal events, coordinating external event approvals and processes, and ensuring smooth, safe bump-ins for contractors. Your attention to detail and ability to communicate clearly will be key to making every event run seamlessly. As the primary liaison with our onsite caterer, you’ll bring proven event coordination experience, outstanding organisational and communication skills, and a proactive, hands-on approach. Confident working independently and under pressure, you’ll collaborate with clients, contractors and Arboretum staff to deliver high-quality internal and external events. Based at the National Arboretum Canberra, you’ll also support events at Stromlo Forest Park, giving you exposure to diverse projects and opportunities to contribute across the branch. This full-time role includes some after-hours and weekend work, including 24 and 25 January 2026 over the Australia Day weekend.
