An exciting opportunity exists in the role of Member and Admin Officer at AAMRI. While we are a small team, we are passionate about making a big difference and are dedicated to delivering for our members. We are currently seeking an experienced Member and Admin Officer to join and bolster our team and to provide high level support to the organisation. The Member and Admin Officer works closely and cohesively with AAMRI's Operations and Events Director to sustain the smooth operation of all AAMRI resources and events.
THE POSITION
The Member and Admin Officer will be responsible for general support, including:
* Executive assistant support for the AAMRI CEO.
* Updating and managing AAMRI's member hub, including contact maintenance.
* Understanding and advising the needs of each AAMRI member network.
* Coordinating and attending AAMRI member network meetings.
* Assisting with all events, including the annual AAMRI flagship event held in Canberra.
* Liaising with external stakeholders.
* General administration support, such as drafting correspondence, document control, diary management, establishing workflows, booking travel, credit card reconciliations, liaison with suppliers, and general assistance to the AAMRI team.
There is potential to be involved in more diverse and challenging tasks subject to the skills and attributes of the candidate.
SELECTION CRITERIA
Qualifications, Skills and Attributes
Essential
* Experience managing a CRM
* A friendly and capable person who enjoys supporting a team of professionals
* Exceptional attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
* Highly proficient with the Microsoft suite and general computer use
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* The ability to relate effectively with a range of people across all levels of the organisation
* Demonstrated experience in successfully providing administrative support
* Must be able to multi-task in a fast-changing work environment and learn on the fly
* Ability to work both independently and within a team
Desirable
* Ideally, experience using and building an AMS
* A solid understanding of online communication platforms such as Zoom, Teams, etc
* Seeking new challenges and/or alternative career opportunities
* Prior event experience
